We are inviting individuals from across Wales to become volunteers on our Telephone Helpline, which offers advice and signposting to all those concerned about dyslexia - whether it be related to school, college or Higher Education, or employment.
All we ask is that you have access to a telephone, willing to commit a minimum of 3 hours per month (evenings between 5pm and 8pm) and prepared to attend training sessions on a wide range of issues, as well as telephone skills training. We would also ask that you participate in our monthly telephone conferencing sessions.
You can be a Helpline Volunteer from the comfort of your own home! You do not need to be able to travel to a central venue to participate!
For more information contact our Volunteering Co-ordinator, Anna Salisbury: email at admin@welshdyslexia.org or by telephoning 0808 1800 110 at our Cardigan office and Advice Centre.
