We have been able, through the Government's new job creation initiative (Future Jobs Fund) in conjunction with Carmarthen County Council's programme, been able to secure funding to create four posts for 6 months at our new office on Trinity University College's campus in Carmarthen.

The posts are for:

b.  Dyslexia in the Business Community Assistant

Tasks and role similar to the above, but in addition, contacting local companies and businesses to heighten both employer and employee awareness of the advice we can offer them on dyslexia issues in the workplace.  This can cover the legal implications/regulations, funding to support the dyslexic employee, and about Dyslexia and the Disability Discrimination Act.  The assistant will also make arrangements for screening tests to be carried out, where requested, through our trained screeners.

c.  Newsletter Assistant
