EdGair is the Welsh version of the free talking word-processor, EdWord. The original program was developed by the University of Manchester, Department of Computing on behalf of the charity SENSE.  The Welsh voice has been developed by Canolfan Bedwyr, Prifysgol Cymru Bangor, who also developed the CD on behalf of Prosiect Dyslecsia Cymru/Wales Dyslexia Project, facilitated the development and integration, and sponsored the reconfiguring of EdWord from its own funds alongside a financial contribution from Grant Busnes Grant Bwrdd yr Iaith Gymraeg/Welsh Language Board to allow it to be used in Welsh as part of its EU funded e-learning project Dystrain project. Canolfan Bedwyr, University of Wales, Bangor were also responsible for developing the Welsh interface and the Welsh menus.  For more information, please visit: www.bangor.ac.uk/ar/cb/technolegau_iaith.php.(Welsh page) or www.bangor.ac.uk/ar/cb/technolegau_iaith.php.en for the English page.
